Our treatment philosophy

Practice
Philosophy

We treat a wide variety of muscular, skeletal and neuromuscular disorders by combining several medical disciplines like physical therapy, osteopathy, physical medicine, chiropractic, and pain management.

Our approach to diagnostics and treatment follows the latest research in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Our Awards

We recognize the importance
of the patient’s role in their own care

Our motto is

Movement is Life

We teach patients how
to incorporate healthy movement
and spinal health into their daily routine

Our proven DNS exercises encourage proper functional movement and allow correct movements and posture to become automatically ingrained in patient’s motor patterns. Our expertise in manual medicine, rehabilitation and chiropractic can put you on the road to pain-free life and longevity.

Our Treatment Philosophy

At NYDNR, we understand that every patient is unique, and we believe that each treatment plan should be tailored to the specific needs of the individual patient.

We incorporate a broad range of treatment approaches to get at the source of the patient’s pain and dysfunction, and resolve it.

Our treatment methods include physical therapy, chiropractic treatment, osteopathy, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization (DNS) and other innovative treatment approaches, coupled with the latest technology, tore function.

Our DNS exercises are proven tor patterns.

Both diagnostics and treatment at NYDNR are grounded in the most current research in rehabilitative medicine.

We acknowledge the value of the patient’s participation in their own diagnosis and treatment. We teach patients how to promote peak performance and reduce the risk of injury.

At NYDNR, our collective expertise in rehabilitation, manual medicine and chiropractic care can help you achieve peak performance, longevity, and optimal pain-free quality of life.

In this instance, an athlete was originally diagnosed with minor quadriceps muscle strain and was treated for four weeks, with unsatisfactory results. When he came to our clinic, the muscle was not healing, and the patients’ muscle tissue had already begun to atrophy.

Upon examination using MSUS, we discovered that he had a full muscle thickness tear that had been overlooked by his previous provider. To mitigate damage and promote healing, surgery should have been performed immediately after the injury occurred. Because of misdiagnosis and inappropriate treatment, the patient now has permanent damage that cannot be corrected.

The most important advantage of Ultrasound over MRI imaging is its ability to zero in on the symptomatic region and obtain imaging, with active participation and feedback from the patient. Using dynamic MSUS, we can see what happens when patients contract their muscles, something that cannot be done with MRI. From a diagnostic perspective, this interaction is invaluable.
